About Zap Contact™

I'm Bill Bailey -- most of my customers know me as Dr Bill. I've been selling marketing lists for over 20 years, and the vast majority of my customers buy them for one reason: email marketing.

Here's the problem they all run into.

Every major email platform -- MailChimp, Constant Contact, AWeber, all of them -- prohibits cold email. If the recipient didn't opt in, you can't send to them. Period. It doesn't matter that cold email is perfectly legal in the United States. These platforms don't want the bounce rates and spam complaints that come with purchased lists, so they ban them outright.

Some of my customers managed to work around this. Clean the list, send in small batches, write solid copy, cross your fingers. It can work.

But it's hard.

Which is why I built Zap Contact™.

The problem I had to solve

Email platforms shut down cold email senders for two reasons: hard bounces and spam complaints. Most purchased lists fail badly on both counts. I knew that if I could control those two things, I could build a platform where cold email actually works -- reliably and long-term.

That's exactly what Zap Contact does. Every email is verified before it's sent, catching bad addresses before they become bounces. Most campaigns report hard bounce rates under 3%. I monitor campaigns to ensure content isn't spammy, and recipients can easily unsubscribe with one click. The result is a platform that stays in good standing with the infrastructure providers because the fundamentals are clean.

I also set up a dedicated sending domain for every customer with properly configured DNS. That means your cold email campaigns actually build your sending reputation over time -- and your primary business domain stays completely protected.

Where Zap started -- and where it's going

I originally built Zap Contact for my Dr Bill list customers, because I understood their data and could guarantee its quality. That foundation gave me the operational discipline to keep bounce rates low and deliverability high.
