0:01 Greetings, this is Dr. Bill. In today's video we will discuss how to create your account in the Zap App. Zap Contact is Dr Bill's
0:10 email marketing service. The Zap App is the actual tool that you will use to manage your email campaigns. In order to create an account in the Zap App, you first have to purchase a plan.
0:23 There are two plans: The trial plan and the customer plan. The trial plan is for Dr. Bill customers who've only requested a free sample list and would like to try out the Zap App before they consider purchasing a full list.
0:35 The customer plan is for Dr. Bill customers who've actually purchased the list they want to market to and they're ready to start their email campaign.
0:44 Before you can purchase either plan, you first have to log in. Notice the purchase buttons are struck out as I'm currently not logged in.
0:55 Zap contact login is the same as your Dr. Bill login. Your Dr. Bill login was created when you first requested a free sample or purchased a list.
1:13 For the purpose of this video, I've created a demo account. When you log in, it'll take you to the account dashboard.
1:27 Because you don't currently have a ZapApp account, it will prompt you to purchase a plan. This brings us back to the pricing/plans page, and you can see that the purchase buttons are now activated, and you can choose
1:44 which plan you'd like to purchase. I'm going to go ahead for the purposes of this illustration and just purchase a trial plan.
1:55 Click on the button, and it will take you to payment page. ( would then complete the payment information and it will take you to a purchase confirmation page afterwards.
2:05 I'm not going to go through the complete purchase process here, but when it's finished it will take you to the purchase confirmation page which will prompt you enter your profile information in order to create your Zap App account.
2:18 If you were to go to the pricing plans page, it now says that you've purchased the trial plan. At this point, if I wanted to, I could upgrade and purchase the customer plan.
2:30 If I go to the account tab, where we were before, it prompted you to purchase a plan. Now, you can see that the status is that I've purchased a trial plan, and I'm ready to create my Zap App account.
2:45 It pre-fills your profile information from your Dr. Bill account. If you want to use different information for your Zap Contact account and your campaigns, you can change it here before you create your account.
3:01 You can also edit this information later on after you log in to your Zap App. But I'm going for our purposes to go ahead and keep this information the same.
3:11 Push the button, it'll only take a few seconds and it will create your account in the Zap App. Your profile information is now loaded into the dashboard and your Zap account has been set up.
3:25 You will receive an email with your login information, a default password, and it willrefer you to https://app.zapcontact.com to log in.
